Too Many by Alexa Riley

I love these three characters. The smut is on point, and the sweetness factor is up there.
I don’t love this story as much as Too Hard. There are also a couple of typo and continuity issues between the two. It’s to be expected for AR to a point, but I noticed it here. Butch (from Too Hard) was actually called the wrong name once in this one.
But overall, it’s definitely an entertaining read that will send you off with a smile...and possibly a change of panties.
I recommend this to all short and steamy read lovers, lovers of smut, and all Alexa Riley fans.

Too Hard by Alexa Riley

This one is an Alexa Riley favorite of mine. It just plain gets stuck in my head and I have to read it again. I truly enjoy it.
It’s sweet and sexy with a bit of the ‘call me Daddy’ aspect that is catnip to me. Add older man/younger woman to the picture and yes, please. No shame. I love it.
Things are a tiny bit confusing at first because Butch has twin boys that are older and he thinks Harlow should be with them at first because she’s too young for him. Having the boys actually being there makes that thought a little more difficult to swallow. But the Harlow makes it clear that it’s Butch she wants and we realize everyone else is on board with that the whole time. It’s just a little weird for some readers and I get that.
But I truly love this story! Short, steamy, and just the perfect amount of sweetness. I swear short and steamy romances are like M&Ms to me...I can’t stop at one. That’s why I’ve read a good 9 AR books this weekend. And this one is a definite favorite.
I highly recommend it to all sexy novella lovers. This is definitely an AR worth purchasing if you’re considering it.

126 Secret Ln. by Ella Goode

This book is very cute. I loved Glory and Corby. They were both writers who chose different mediums, and I loved that they had that in common.
Honestly, it was a bit slow for me. While it was a very entertaining story, it wasn’t my favorite Ella Goode book. I actually put it down...twice...which is almost unheard of with her novellas. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t dislike it or regret reading it. At the same time, it’s not going to be one of her stories that I immediately want to re-read.
Overall, I recommend it for Ella readers and those reading the Cherry Falls series. So far, I’ve only read a couple Cherry Falls books. While they are a fun read, I can’t say I’m loving them. I’ve read Ella’s and MINK’s at this point and frankly, their individual work is superior.

Sharing Noelle by Margot Scott

I am a huge fan of Margot Scott and I swear she just gets better!!! Her stories are short and sexy, but they are never too short or too sexy to tell the whole story. Meaning - in a book that took about two hours to read, I never felt rushed. Everything happened at an understandable pace. The language and writing style are descriptive, but not overly flowery. It’s a easy read, but the imagery is distinct. These characters are fully fleshed out. There are secondary characters and story lines that make the story easier to understand given its taboo nature.
Now, about the taboo issue. I’ll be honest...beyond the simple fact that these men are related it really didn’t feel taboo to me. I know that sounds a bit nuts, but hear me out. These characters were fully aware of the implications of what was happening and they were completely honest with themselves and each other. The only ‘shaming’ that existed was by the newly married parents. The actual MCs were fully driven by emotions. Even when [******minor spoiler from early on in the book*******] Sawyer got overwhelmed by it at one point. He left the room and allowed himself to truly think things through. Noelle and Colton supported that. [*******minor spoiler over******] You see, they’re cognizant of the implications of their choices and choosing to accept it as beautiful without letting any shame into the situation. Sure, Sawyer calls her ‘little sister’ knowing that it’s taboo, but never thinking it’s shameful. Honestly, I almost missed the taboo aspect at times and felt it could be played up a bit more. But I have mad respect for Ms. Scott for using a taboo and making it beautiful.
The steam factor is lovely, but like Blood and Wine before this, I actual felt like it was not as naughty as her earlier works. I’m thinking that may be on purpose. Particularly considering how many reviewers have mentioned how naughty it is.

I think this book is a sweet sexy bowl of smutty goodness. It’s just plain entertaining. Particularly if you drink the Alexa Riley Kool-aid.
I love that Bull is a big guy. Some people have an issue with the condom not fitting issue...and yes, you’re right...it’s bullsh*t. But, it’s right in there with the ‘breeding’ thing that was all the rage when this book came out. It’s an unapologetic smut thing and I am here for it.
Again, when you read AR you suspend a certain amount of disbelief. I don’t read these stories for sweet and sexy reality. I read them for sweet and sexy escape. This book ticks those boxes. Which is why I will always re-read it.
Do I recommend? Definitely. If you love short smut, sweet and steamy, or Alexa Riley and the brilliant sexy novella authors like her, then I recommend you pick this one up. Enjoy!

His to Keep by MINK

I liked the way things came together with this book. Loved how strong the heroine became.
But here’s my issue, she wasn’t strong at first. Not at all. Then near the end she becomes this total bad*ss. It was a little jarring for me. Things were also pretty slow to really happen and then everything was wrapped up quite quickly.
I love MINK and always read her stories right away, but this one wasn’t my favorite.
Oh and MINK - it’s time to stop adding synopsis with your ‘also by MINK’ list at the end of the book. It started at 83% and that’s way too soon. I thought I had a lot more reading to do and then *boom* epilogue. Just consider it because Amazon won’t let you keep that up much longer. And I don’t want to lose you.

This book is toothache level sweet with a strong touch of sexy. And I love it! It’s a proud re-read for me.
I love meet-cute aspect of the shy teacher writing a letter to a military man for a school project after a student drops the class. I love how much it meant to him to get his very first letter. It was lovely to see how open and honest these characters were with a couple of strangers.
I also love that it was insta-love, but not insta-sex. Don’t get me wrong...the naughty bits are great, but I like that it took them a while.
This is an AR novella that’s short and steamy so in the grand scheme of books this probably isn’t a five star read. But for this little sub genre of bookland...this is definitely one of the best. Five stars.

Drop Dead Gorgeous by Lauren Landish

A Romance Heroine...and Coroner? I never expected it, but it works in this book.
Zoey and Blake are total #goals. These two are precious! I love their rapport and the way they bond over their geeky tendencies. I also love that they both know that they aren’t perfect, but they see the things about themselves that are attractive. All the while, understanding why they haven’t met ‘the one’ yet. They each knew deep down that they were going to need unique partners, and I love that neither of them tried to force themselves into a ‘normal’ box just to be less lonely.
Blake manages to be the absolute dream alpha hero while still being the kind of guy you’d love to meet in real life. He’s so patient with Zoey and more than happy to put in the work for her because he knows she’s special. Adding wooden touches all over his house? Swoon. Also his closeness with his family and his dog? I totally understand why Zoey’s ovaries wanted to explode!
Zoey was less than perfect, but honestly, I loved that about her. She’d been through some really hard times. There were a few points when I wondered why she didn’t just leave her town full of jerks. Honestly, they started to frustrate me way too much a couple of times. But, the more I read, the more I understood why she put up with it. I won’t share my revelation, I’ll let you get there on your own. Just give her a chance if you get frustrated with her. There’s no ‘big reveal’, but your light bulb should go off eventually...if not sooner.
I have loved Lauren Landish’s fake wedding trilogy and The Dare is a personal favorite so I picked this one up as soon as I saw it advertised. And I’m really glad I did. It’s a sweet and special escape from reality that is pretty unexpected. The mystery aspect of it was predictable, but not predictable, if that makes sense. I love a little cliche in my romances, but I also love some surprises. And I truly enjoyed how Ms. Landish put this together. She’s securing her one-click status for me, for sure.
I highly recommend this book to anyone looking for a sweet romantic comedy. If you like a touch of mystery with your romance, even better! Also, she added a whole new Goodreads shelf for me with her ‘wholesome alpha hero’. Seriously, Blake is the best example of ‘book boyfriend that I’d actually love to have in real life’ that I’ve read in a while. And there are some truly great lines in this one that are massively quote-able. Enjoy!

I loved this book!
The last Nicole Snow book I read was not impressive in my opinion. A genuine DNF for me which is pretty rare. But I’m so glad that I gave her another chance. This story was wonderful! I know my review will get lost in a sea of 5 star reviews and that is for good reason. It’s a 5 star book.
My one and only issue was that it was a bit wordy in some places so I did a bit of skimming. Not a dealbreaker though and nowhere near bad enough to remove a star.

This book is totally toothachingly sweet!
I’ve been waiting for Willow’s story and it did not disappoint. The idea of these two younguns ‘getting married’ in a hospital chapel because she’s dying and he’s instantly in love with her is just beautiful.
Yes, it’s insta-love. But they do wait a very long time to get together because Lennon can’t find her despite the fact that he’s filthy rich.
Is it totally realistic? No. Is it a wonderful fantasy with sweet as can be elements and a love that can make miracles happen? Yes. And I love it for that!
I give it four stars because I don’t love it at a five star level, but it’s definitely a good book. I can’t put my finger on an exact reason for the loss of a star, but I think it’s a taste and overall feel kind of thing.
Overall though, I definitely recommend it. It’s well written - Lucy Darling is the perfect author for this overly sweet series. If you’re into Cherry Falls you’ll love this book. If you’re into Lucy Darling you’ll really enjoy this book. And if you love a super sweet romance with a touch of steamy goodness then you’ll definitely love this book!
