an unflinchingly honest memoir of a brilliant man- i'm glad he had the courage and willingness to share this with the world. i think the time spent on his upbringing was the best of it, while the middle and ending dragged a little bit more. regardless, it was all very well narrated in the audiobook

my favourite of the Remixed Classics yet!! i love how the author subverts expectations and pushes the bounds of what is traditionally a tragedy. it is very atmospheric as well, with writing that had me loathe to stop reading, and every relationship in it is beautiful (not just the romance but all of them! especially with the banter!). what a wonderful novel that made my heart feel so full <3
