Such a fun book! I loved the different species and the ways in which they differ from and resemble humans. The author did an amazing job creating a world that is so interesting and, at the same time, so real.
The only bad thing I can think of is how the episodic nature of this book causes a lot of the conflict to be resolved in an honestly lazy way, which is a shame because otherwise it would have been rated 5 stars.
Anyways, this proves once again that the found family is the best trope of all.
