Good twist ending with
Ellen turning out to have been Layla the whole time
but it felt like we took a long slow ride to get there.

The story had a good start. The inner dialog was a good idea and seeing the story from multiple perspectives I liked. However the writing became redundant and was poorly done throughout the middle of the book. The ending I didn’t see coming, which was good, albeit a bit off putting. I didn’t like any of the characters and almost didn’t finish it.

Even better than the first book of the series. The character development is unparalleled.
