I really like the concept for the book and feel like the characters have the potential to be interesting and great but almost everything fell flat for me.
I wish I liked it more. I wanted to feel the same feelings I had reading tmi for the first time. However I will read the second book and I hope it’s shorter lol.

A bit slow at times but a beautiful and sad story about friendship, life and gaming.

Weird one, not sure if I understood it hahah. However, kinda fun to listen, good as an audiobook but I would dnf the physical book since I wouldn’t have the patience for this kind of storytelling. Not my cup of tea
Midnight Ruin by Katee Robert
4.5
My first Eurydice and Orpheus retelling and I enjoyed it. Having Charon in it was a good addition and it was fun to get some Hades content again.
Heavy on spice and weaker on plot, but that is almost what you have to expect with the series. However I liked that the stakes are still high and violence is definitely increasing in Olympus. If you’re here for a heavily inspired Greek myth retelling, you might be a little disappointed, but if you’re here for spice and a fun read - you will have a great time with Midnight ruin and the whole series.
