Unfortunately I didn’t enjoy this as much as I was hoping.  I was a quick and engaging read, but it wasn’t the greatest fantasy book I’ve read.

I really loved Jude and thought she was a complete badass, love her so freaking much!
The few plot twists were very interesting and I didn’t really expect, so it was good in that aspect.

I feel like a lot happened in this book, but also not a lot happened.  Everything built up and then the book ended a bit too fast, for me anyway.  I defo would have liked more of an ending.  Like it feels like I’ve finished the book halfway through

Anyway, it was a good read and it took me 4 days to read.  It wasn’t the worst, but also not the best.

This was such a great read!  It only took me 3 days so it’s a super easy and quick one.  It was quite hard for me to put down cause I wanted to reach the end and see what happened with Julie and Sam.

Seeing Julie go through this grief was so emotional.  I’ve never experienced grief like that before, but I could empathise with her.  I understood why she bottled things up, pushed people away and isolated herself.

I do wish we had some more of the fun memories with Julie and Sam, but I guess that wasn’t really the point of the book.  I just loved Julie and Sam so freaking much I needed to see more moments of them together🥺

I also think it would have been a cool addition for there to be a few chapters from Sams pov at the end.  I would have loved to know what he was thinking when he died, when he arrived in his heavenly place, what it looked like, how it was for him calling with Julie even though he’s dead, ect…

From all the reviews I’ve seen, I was fully expecting the flood gates to be opened, flooding happening in my eyes and fully ruining the book.  But.. and I’m being 100% truely honest here… I didn’t cry once..
there were times where I could feel the onset feeling of crying, but I never actually shed any tears.  Maybe I didn’t connect enough with the main characters, I’m not too sure…

But overall it was a great read and I’d definitely recommend it!  But make sure to check the tws🫶

I really enjoyed The Bridge Kingdom!
It was fast paced, the characters were loveable and they all had such unique personalities.  I love Arens guards so freaking much!  Jor mainly😂
Lara is such a badass!!  I want to be like her when I grow up🥹😤

When Lara was starting to come to terms about her father (that’s all I say cause of spoilers) it was so interesting seeing how she was thinking, trying so hard to deny it to herself, and just not wanting to believe it was true.

The enemies to lovers in this book was UGH amazing🥹 the banter between Lara and Aren was so cute and funny but also really built on their tension👀 I loved it sm!

I will say the location names in this book were quite confusing and hard to wrap my head around😂 I eventually got there but at the start I was super confused and couldn’t remember the place names, where they were in the kingdoms/world and also what each island/kingdom was like.  But anyway, like I said I eventually got there lol

Overall I really enjoyed this one but it’s not quite a 5 star for me!  I’d defo recommend it though!  And thank you Tia for recommending it to me, I’m so freaking glad I read it🥹

Ok so I loved this book, but not a 5 star love.

The plot twist was really good. I was not expecting what was written in the letter.  But I feel like there could have been more added to the story??  Like we don’t know what Verity was actually like, so that’s kind of left me feeling a bit disappointed.  It didn’t leave me thinking “what the hell have I just read?”, but there were moments where I was a bit spooked, especially at the beginning because I honestly had no idea what I was going into.  I hadn’t seen any spoilers or anything, so I had no idea what to expect.  It kind of felt like one of those movies where you know what’s happening/going to happen, but you’re still a bit spooked/shocked when it does.

I was super mad when reading the manuscript😂 like how could someone do that?  But then it got to end with the letter, and now I don’t really know what to believe.

Overall, the book has left me a bit disappointed.  I was expecting to come away from it with so many thoughts and “what the fucks”, but I haven’t.
I don’t usually like to compare books, but I enjoyed Local Woman Missing MUCH more than Verity.

This… this book..  I just can’t.  This is definitely a fav for me.  I loved seeing Juliette figure out her ability more.  I loved getting to know Warner more deeply.  I loved the Juliette FINALLY stopped caring about what others thought and she became herself.  She accepted who she is, what she is, how she is.  I think we all can learn so much from Juliette and her story.  Even from Warner too.  His story just absolutely breaks my heart.

I love how faced pace this book was.  I read it in 3 days(??).  I was just so consumed by it.  Time just dissolved while reading it.  I wanted to keep reading, I NEEDED to keep reading!  I needed more of Juliette and Warner, more of their development, more of Kenji and James, more of the funny banter, but also more of the tough, emotional, raw feelings.  This book has everything I could want.  I loved it so much.

I enjoyed this one, but honestly I don’t really like Adam so it was a bit tough staying engaged with his pov.  It did add some more details into the story, like the
bombing of omega point, everyone thinking Juliette is dead, James surviving, and all them going back to Adams old house

But overall I didn’t enjoy it that much, so 3 stars.

I love Aaron Warner.  I love Juliette Ferrars.  I couldn’t get enough of this book.  I read it in 6 days(??) but two of those days I read over half the book which is an insane amount for me to read.
I love Aaron so fucking much and I love he calls Juliette ‘love’ UGH IT JUST MAKES ME SO HAPPY😭
The action in this book is amazing too!  The character development, the few plot twists that were chucked in there.  Well, one of them I had a hunch about when I was reading Shatter Me but I just thought that was a crazy thought and I was just finding any answer, but turns out I was right🤭
ANWAY I absolutely love this book, this series, EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS BOOK GIVES ME LIFE😩 I can’t wait to continue the series and go on this next journey and character development with Juliette (iykyk)

I throughly enjoyed this book much more than the first one.  And There weren’t as many annoying metaphors, which made me love them when Tahereh Mafi added them in.

I loved seeing warners pov and the little entries from Juliette diary.  This book has made me love Warner and understand him so much more.  It’s also so nice to see inside his head as to why he loved Juliette so much
