I need to reread this whole duology soon. For some reason, I don’t remember as much from this book, I remember the first one way better. I think I didn’t like this one as much as the first but I can’t remember why.

One of the best romances I’ve ever had the pleasure of reading. Romance aside, Elizabeth Lim’s writing never fails to move me.

This book almost made me go insane because of the pain I felt reading this. I can’t believe I read to the very end.

This book was really good, it reminded me a lot of Junie B. Jones so it gave me a lot of nostalgia from my childhood but in my opinion, this was way better. This book made me laugh out loud a lot, and thinking about those scenes still makes me laugh.
I really wanted to give it 5 stars, but I don’t know anything about baseball so all the scenes of the book where baseball is involved went completely over my head except for the parts where the characters are clearly happy or sad over the game. I also wish the book was longer but for the age demographic it’s intended for, I completely understand why that’s not the case.
So on a more analytical level, I’d say it’d be an easy five star read for the intended audience (especially since the intended audience is supposed to understand baseball unlike me 🤣)
