One of the best novels I read this year. It took a bit time to get into but was hooked 1/3 through. The ending is so impactful I love it to pieces. Definitely a Richard Yates fan after reading this book and his “Eleven Types of Loneliness”

An interesting story, I did got into it after half way through but overall it is not my thing. Not fan of any kind of folk/fairy tale and I should really check before buying the book next time
