Again, Rachel by Marian Keyes
5.0
Here we are, 22 years after I first read “Rachel’s holiday”, which I’ve re-read until my copy fell apart and I bought the kindle version to always have with me.
Meeting Rachel again was like meeting up with an old friend. When both of you have been through some tough times, nobody needs to pretend or play the “my life is better than yours” game, it’s just honest and real.
Of course, what I really wanted to know was: Has Rachel managed to stay clean all these years? And is she still happy with Luke? What has the rest of the Walsh family been up to?
You’ll have to find out for yourselves. Make sure to bring the tissues, but always know that with Marian, you’re in the safest of storyteller hands.
