A Novel Love Story by Ashley Poston

1.0

This book was probably one of the worst books I have read in a while. I had been looking forward to this book for forever because the concept was everything I had ever dreamed of. However, the execution was not good in the slightest.
I could get over the whole mixing things up, running gag. But the first thing I had a problem with was her telling these characters, her opinions on their happily ever after. To you, they were fictional characters, but here they are real people with real emotions. Don't be upset when they get pissed off at your judgment. The whole time I was thinking that Anderson was just 1/2 of an unfinished ship from before the writer died and I wouldn't have a problem with that. However, we find out he's her widow and has been living in the book as a way to be close to her. That makes the love story if you could call it that 100 times worse. If a man showed up at my door months after telling me, he wasn't over his wife being like I'm ready to be with you now I would slam the door in his face.
