after picking up and putting down this one like 5 times, jordan finally got me to read it all the way through 😭🫶🏼

and I would have loved this one so much more if I hadn’t read so many other similar thrillers!! sadly, I guessed the plot twist from a mile away due to the similarities to one of my favorite thrillers ever … (I will post at the end of this review to avoid spoilers)

I loved the intrigue of flipping back and forth between joel’s present girlfriend and his ex-girlfriend without naming who exactly they are - and their stories were so equally interesting I wasn’t sure who I was rooting for more!!

it was a very quick entertaining thriller, and as I mentioned, it would have hit better if I hadn’t read a certain named thriller with an almost identical plot twist 🥴🥴
