Want to Know a Secret? by Freida McFadden

fast-paced

2.0

One of the reasons I love Freida’s books is because of the impressive, creative, shocking twists. This book did not do that.
I don’t think it’s fair or good writing to do half of a book with the perception it’s true,  then the second half to be like TWIST that was actually all a lie. Sure narrators can be unpredictable but April’s half of the book was just straight up not true. Not even her perspective was a little skewed because of memory or mental health or some other plot point, just entirely misleading the reader.
