This was just not at all what I was expecting. I wanted a more in depth story about how women tend to change their appearance to appear to others differently than they would if they were to just be themselves. This was talked about but only for one chapter and I wanted MORE! I also thought this was going to be more inspirational and uplifting and although there were some parts that did it fell flat. This was a heavier read for me as I don’t normally gravitate towards nonfiction but I wanted to try something out of my comfort zone for #nonfictionnovemeber. I’m sure there are people that would love this book but it missed the mark for me.
