Maybe it was because of the out-there examples (the ones he made up within an explanation, not the novels), or the repeated use of "he" when referring to the hero of a story. But I just could not get into this. I read it all the way through and there were a lot of good tips that I took away, but on a level of keeping my interest, I felt it was lacking.
