Wow. What a ride.

I was ready to DNF this book until about half way through. I take full responsibility for this, though, because I was just not in the mood for this going into. So, I decided to temporarily put it down, read a few other books, and I came back to it about a week later when I was finally in the mood for it… and I was hooked. The second half of the book was pure gold. I fell in love with the romance, grew to really care for the characters, and even became interested in the world-building that had previously bored me so much. I can’t wait for the copy I ordered of Vow of Thieves to come in the mail so I can read it immediately! This is a new absolute favorite.
