🎧: 4/5 - as a single narration, the VA does a great job executing the voices, even the men's! Great expression, clear differences between the characters, overall fun.
🌶️: 4/5 - This book is 4 hours long and I'd say maybe 3.5 hours of it is spice haha. There is some 🍑 but nothing beyond that kink wise. Really well written, which I expect nothing less from Katee
Honestly, I picked this up because someone brought up that this was one of the microtropes where "FMC is on a call while getting 🍆" - which it kind of is but it's very brief so I don't think it really fit the microtrope enough for me.
Anyways, this ended up being so much more fun than I expected. Age gap isn't really my jam (unless it's ridiculous like 20 and 500 lmao) but I think Katee made this fun.
The thing about Katee is that they don't highlight the issues that are often found with age gaps which I think is what makes it great. There is no concerns about grooming, the man was never a "father figure" type character in her life, they didn't have much interaction when they were younger, there isn't a power dynamic concern. Just purely an age gap that separates them which I think is great.
Anyways, this is not the book to pick up if you're looking for deep chemistry or character growth. It's just a feral frenzy and it's fun. That's it! And it does it well!
