This book had a bit of a slow start. Once I hit around 100 pages it really took off! The last 100 pages I didn’t want to put the book down!! I love Mara’s character so much and loved how much she learned about herself throughout the book. Eli was so perfect for Mara and making sure he did everything he could to make sure she had what she needed to be what he knew she could become. I didn’t know a book could take you by surprise so many times in the last few pages of the book! The cliff hanger on this one is gonna kill me!! I need the next book to come out asap!!! One thing is for sure… if Kara Swanson writes it I’m going to read it!!
