What on earth did I just read?

This has got to be one of the most ridiculous stories I've ever read.

I picked up this back thinking it would be a quick short steamy little fantasy read about dragon shifters and queens and arranged marriages and the enemies to lovers trope. But in fact the book that I got was a sick, twisted little story which sounded like it had been written by either 13-year old who knows way too much for their age, or an adult who literally has the writing ability of a 13-year old.hThee
he story was not well written there was barely any concise plot, the names were just too ridiculous, and the dialogue was so unbelievable and cliche. I honestly believe that any teenager in their right mind could come up with a much better plot that would be cohesive and compelling and write the novel that the synopsis promised.

Weather its supposed to be considered erotica or romance, I don't know, but It cannot even be considered either because there was no romance and the only scenes in which it could be considered and erotica were too short and quick and too ladened with adverbs and adjectives trying to flesh out the scene but which actually served no other purpose than to do to deter me from wanting to read anymore. The only reason I did not dnf this book is because it was so damn short it would be pointless. 

I am so glad I did not pay much to read this book and picked it up for pennies off of Amazon. I would have been severely disappointed if I had bought the ebook of this or paid more for the physical copy only to find out that the content is included with absolute trash.

The whole forgiving the rapist asshole just because of a prophecy was just shallow and unrealistic. As was the main character supposing to be a strong woman who stood for no bullshit only to find she's a shallow, hollow sap who falls into bed with anybody. So basically a blonde bimbo with no brains. Way to stereotype. Speaking of falling into bed with anybody, did you know that she sleeps with her stepfather? Yes. One of only 2 sex scenes in the book and it is with her stepfather. She then gets pregnant by him and apparently starts vomiting the very next day or so...yeah, someone didn't even take sex ed or basic biology in school.

This was just so full of terrible things I fell like I need to throw up, burn the book, and take a cold shower.
