The Last Colony by John Scalzi
5.0
As per most settings of humanity in a sci-fi setting, we are ambitious, quick, and aggressive. Also we happen to be extremely good at one thing. Pissing every species off around us. A great follow up to [b:Old Man's War|51964|Old Man's War (Old Man's War, #1)|John Scalzi|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1346671475s/51964.jpg|50700] and [b:The Ghost Brigades|239399|The Ghost Brigades (Old Man's War, #2)|John Scalzi|http://d.gr-assets.com/books/1316729668s/239399.jpg|18279845] as we continue our familiarity with John Perry and Jane Sagan. As usual Scalzi has his wit to him and many humorous sections happen. The ending was very touching and the quick twist was great. Now to read Zoe's Tale for her viewpoint in this story.
