The Woman in Me by Britney Spears
5.0
I grew up with her music and have always been a fan but reading this book has changed something. I'm not just a fan of her music anymore. Britney has captured my heart with her story and most of all her extreme strength, her endurance, her drive to keep going and surviving.
I so hope she gets peace and happiness.
This book drew me in from the first sentence and kept me there till the very last. I devoured it in awe of her power and heartbroken by what she had to go through. It's more than just a juicy book spilling tea on celebs or whatever. It's a life story told honestly, raw and pure.
It feels wrong to say I enjoyed reading this book given what I've read so to state it differently; It's an important read, even if you aren't a fan of Britney. It's what this book shares about conservatorships, mental health, loneliness and more.
Read it.
