The Cat Who Saved Books by Sōsuke Natsukawa
5.0
This book was fun and interesting: books and cats, what else can I ask?
It is about Rintaro Natsuki, a tabby cat, and Sayo saving books from people who either use books only for profit or just to collect them, without actually reading them.
The overall message is about loving books. The title is a bit misleading because it is not the cat who saves the books, but Rintaro under the tabby cat's "orders".
I enjoyed the characters and their growth by the end of the book. I liked Sayo, who was a very smart girl and had some courage.
