The Guest List by Lucy Foley
5.0
Are you on the guest list to the most luxe wedding of the season? TV star Will Slater and online magazine publisher Jules Keegan are tying the knot on an intimate, luxury resort on a remote Irish island. But everyone staying on the island has something to hide. Everyone seems to have a motive. And there’s one person at the wedding who might not make it off the island alive…
This one is pure thriller perfection! I absolutely loved everything about Lucy Foley’s book, and I will quickly be reading her whole backlist! I’ve read several books with more than two or three POVs and the author couldn’t quite pull it off. Foley did five POVs masterfully, and in just over 300 pages! I don’t want to give away too much, but the twists in this one left me gasping aloud. The alternating timelines were so well done too. A fantastic whodunnit, through and through. And the audiobook version is stellar — the whole cast of narrators all captured their characters beautifully.
If you’re a mystery/thriller fan, read this ASAP! And if thrillers aren’t usually your thing, let this one change your mind!
