POPSUGAR READING CHALLENGE: A book about women's sports and/or by a woman athlete

Now Rebecca. I was singing high praises in the last Rebecca Yarros book i read, and now you give me this? Oh nooooooooooooo. This was a mess for more reasons than one unfortunately.

First of all, this book wanted to be a movie so bad. Like hang it up flat screen PLEASE it was so unrealistic, and i dont even know where to start. Penna was legit the most "I'm not like other girls" girl i've read in a minute. "Dirt, racing, and motorcross is my version of barbie houses" ....okay?

Then, I felt like I was confused the entire time. She rides motorbikes for a living, but then shes at school at sea like its the sweet life on deck, then they were in cuba, then they were in a psych ward, then a jail cell, and then all of a sudden shes like "I need to call in the president" BABY HUHHHHH WHO ARE YOUUUUU?!?!?! to be calling in the president?? I-

Moral of the story is this was a hot mess.
