The first part was slow for my liking but the build-up and foreshadowing made sense when I reached toward the reveal in the end. I just wish there was more action in the first half.

I had to remind myself that this book was published in '79 but it's so timely to be reading something that mentions AI and the extent the US government is willing to do for their defense capabilities.

This was scary to read especially knowing how much the medical and science fields have improved through the years. I miss reading medical thrillers and I'm so glad I picked this up despite the struggle I experienced at the beginning.
