I love Jennette's voice as a writer and am grateful to her for sharing her story in such a raw and real way. Despite our vastly different childhoods, I found this all too relatable as the kid who always wanted to make everyone else happy. So, after I finished listening, I scheduled an intake session with a new therapist (long overdue). We'll see how it goes.
