Daughter of No Worlds by Carissa Broadbent

Loved the FMC; she was ragey but with depth. The plot was good, and I enjoyed reading the story. The performance was confusing though, because the narrator used a really gruff voice for the MMC that, coupled with how unmentioned his age is, made me think he was roughly 40 years older than I found out he was after googling. It took me out of it, and I had mixed feelings. And I don't enjoy "teacher-student" romance even if they're age appropriate, and it was really unclear for awhile whether this one even was that? The slow burn was so slow burn I didn't know it was even warm
