This might just be my favourite book in the Drizzt series so far. This is a very thoughtful book about the importance of friendship and the ability to forgive oneself for past sins.

All of this depths is entrapped within an excellent DnD adventure story with AWESOME setpieces. The rampage throughout the Mindflayer city is top notch.

Drizzt always leaves me thinking, pondering on my place in the wider world. They are special books.
