I actually managed to reread a book and go me because my thought cage is telling me I chose very well

…and it was just as good as I remember it being. This is a bloody and action packed adventure with some heartfelt moments in between set in a gritty Norse inspired world that is very well crafted

I was equally invested in all 3 POVs as they were all on their own missions with different reasons behind them making them distinct from one another. Each one aided the world building and also introduced you to the lore of the Gods which was interesting to learn about. Orka does take the top spot though, she’s probably the best female character in any book and I definitely wouldn’t want to get on her bad side

The last 20% of this book was thrilling to say the least, with plot lines merging and plot twists well and truly happening I couldn’t put the book down. Some revelations occurred but it definitely leaves you with more questions all in the best way

Roll on the reread of The Hunger of the Gods in preparation for The Fury of the Gods!
