Clover has her guard up and just wants to “come to work, do [her] job, and stunt on a few hoes.” But she has her work cut out for her with President ‘Teddy‘–tall, dark, and handsome with the swagger of Obama–who’s constantly testing her boundaries. This was my first read from this author, and I enjoyed it so much. Pros: It was funny with so many quotables–insignificant other, lady boner, boner donor, etc. Their dynamic and chemistry reminded me of Olivia and Fitz from Scandal. The struggle to trust and love was relatable. Cons: She worked my nerves with her commitment issues. He wouldn't know discretion if it bit him in the ass. There’s a third act breakup.
Moderate: Sexual content
Minor: Abandonment and Sexual harassment
