Holy cow... So at first I wasn't sure about this one it was moving kind of slow and I wasn't feeling super invested. However, once we get to the scavenger hunt portion of the night this book takes off... I mean it becomes impossible to put down. It gives all the amazing vibes of the traditional slasher movies that you could ever want. It also gets gory and gruesome like super fast. The whole things quickly becomes about this group of friends doing everything to survive the night in what has quickly become a horror story of a night. I loved the way it felt very carnival Scream. It was so amazing. I really loved the way the hunt was written and how you could see just how much the masked man knew the girls. The ending was intense and totally unexpected. I'm just saying this is one of those totally bingeable books for any horror lover who enjoys slasher stories.
