THE IT GIRL is an academic thriller (my fav) featuring a group of friends that all went through the tragic death of their friend April. The story unfold in dual timelines (done very well), but still moved very slowly for my taste. I had a hard time getting into the story and the ending dragged on endlessly. I also predicted the murderer which never happens so kinda disappointed 😞
