Didn't like it as much as the first - the characters lacked depth and the overall story is nothing shockingly new. But although the plot didn't grab me as much, I flew through the pages. It may be Broadway's writing style or the suspense she's able to build in some situations, but I didn't want to put the book down. Also, the spark metaphors that are used at different points are absolutely brilliant. Will definitely read the third book.
