I did not like the MMC. He treated the FMC, a grown adult woman perfectly capable of making up her own mind,  as a child and made all kinds of decisions for her with the guise of protecting her. It is her life, she is a wolf shifter, she can protect herself, mentally too.

As such the miscommunication trope was used quite a lot which drove me nuts. A lot of the anguish could have been avoided if the MMC just talked...

Also there was an error in the Kindle file pages, which made me think I finished the boom half way. To continue reading was hard because the second part was a bit of a copy of the first part regarding the tropes. The angst and investment in the story was just gone. I still read on because I was hoping this would change. 

Unfortunately this was not the case and I won't be continuing the series.
