I'm not sure what I was supposed to get out of this book, and unfortunately, if there was something to be gleaned from it, I didn't get it. I understand and like the concept of a book that details a week in the life of someone - the mundaneness is the point, and the inner life of that person is the point. I thought Jane was adorable and enjoyed the insights into how schools dealt with COVID and changing social norms, and our protagonist's attempts to control her harried life were relatively interesting. But I was bored throughout this, and the book ended abruptly and without much pathos.
