The books in this series, some are historical fiction and some take place at the Elm Creek Manor quilting retreat. This book was entirely historical fiction taking place in the 1920s and around 1875. The two storylines are related and come together at the end. The end was a surprise. I thought I had it all figured out...not even a little bit. I love books like that!
