Wow, what a stupid book.
It's all about six predictions young Ginny got from a psychic at a funfair. A psychic who sought her out instead of her going into a tent or whatever. Makes no sense at all.
So 16 years later all the predictions seem to come true. Ginnys fiancé dumps her right before their wedding, she loses their flat and then her beloved aunt dies.
Ginny struggles with various men, being a people pleaser and having an unpleasant mother. Luckily she has a great sister and lovely friends, plus a job she loves, even if it means working for her unpleasant mother.
Are there really women out there who are such extrem people pleasers or think being with someone you hate is better than being with no one? And such manipulative mothers? If there are, I really don't want to read about them all the time, it just annoys me.
I tried to like the romance but it was barely there and I got no sense of Zack at all.
And that twist at the end? Beyond irritating.
