Odd, dark, and unexpected, The Woman in the Purple Skirt is an alternative thriller tackling themes of obsession and voyeurism. It's unnerving in its ability to normalize the typically eerie and creepy through the lens of a seemingly normal narrator. An enjoyable and quick read, but left me wishing for a bit more.
