I'm not crying, you're crying NOPE 🤧 I'M DEFINITELY CRYING and it's only book two 😭😭😭

Chapter 33 will always hit me even when I'm living my life and not reading anything Throne of Glass related... especially those last few lines on page 250 💔

She started down at the pickax in her hands. She turned, slowly, to look into the face of her overseer, the face of Adarlan. He cocked his wrist, pronged whip ready. She felt her tears before she realised they were falling, sliding through six months' worth of filth.
Enough. The word screamed through her, so loudly she began to shake. Silently, she began to recite the names of her dead. And as the overseer raised his whip, she added her name to the end of that list and swung her ax into his gut.

On a lighter note—sorry to the Chaol fans—I will say I hit a new record of rolling my eyes each time it was Chaol's POV 💀 I was counting down the seconds his inner monologues would stop lol

tbh I don't think I can review this book/series after knowing all the twists and turns so I'm just going to add my favourite fan art instead!
