Welp, my mind's in shambles right now and I honestly have no idea what to write. I enjoy this book so much more than TA6.

However,
If you're not into TA6, but think this sequel might make you like it, you won't. It has similar tone and everything, but with much much more complicated characters development.

Oke let's get to the things I enjoy:

  1. Callum Nova was never my favourite character, but somehow I like this version of him better. Drunk, and never trying so hard to manipulate or whatsoever anymore. He used his ability as allies. And on the perfect timing. And how many times I tried to hate him, what he said frequently made solid points.
  2. An Indonesian here, I didn't expect the book to tackle the issues between developing countries and developed countries. When I read some Asian inspired book, it mostly East Asian centered (developed countries), and it's nice to see the voices of our silly island countries represented. I love how Olivie mixed the current issues with what she had in her book. And yes, I love Belen (I hate you, Olivie😭).
  3. I love Libby's arc. All of it.
  4. Nicco Tristan duo remains superior.
  5. The audiobook is heavenly.

Things I'm not sure what to feel:
  • Reina.
  • Dalton.
  • Quantum and multiverse ideas.
  • CAN SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT ATLAS BLAKELY MOTIVES ARE?

Things I hate:
  • The gala: wasted
  • Erza Fowler arc: wasted (I mean he lived up to such a great power, and in the end it doesn't mean anything. He did NOTHING 
  • The forum: wasted

I hate cliffhangers. And yes I'll wait for the next book bcs you can't leave me like this.
