I don’t ever give 1 stars because I try to find something redeemable about ever book but this was objectively terrible. nothing interesting happened until the last 10% of the book and there were too many bland characters I couldn’t remember who was who for the majority of the book. the best character was Kingsley and even then he was still kind of annoying. everyone else was either bland, constantly contradicting themselves, or just plain dumb. the idea was there but the execution was terrible.
