As much as I wanted to rate this 5 stars after finishing it the beginning was a lot slower than the rest of the book and I didn't get fully invested into the novel until about 140 pages in. After that I flew through it in two days. I absolutely fell in love with Luzia and Santángel and was surprised that Bardugo even made me love Valentina's character by the end. For some reason this book reminded me a lot of V.E. Schawb's novels (particularly the invisible life of addie larue and gallant) which I really enjoyed. I cannot wait to reread this and pick up on more alluded to details throughout!
