Hmmmm, I love Kate Alice Marshall to death but this just didn't do it for me. It lacked a certain ember that get other books have. It's a pretty solid mystery thriller, but just a bit too messy for my liking. Sometimes messiness makes a story really juicy, but this is more of a case of it just becoming confusingly tangled. I look forward to more and more from Marshall and I hope she brings a little more magic and weirdness into her next foray into adult books
