Hm. I wanted to love this. It's the first romance I've read where tit takes place in the Philippines, with two Filipino characters. There were certain bits I liked (talking about Manila, the food) ... but it didnt' quite work for me.

I think the idea of a whirlwind day with someone where you fall in love is cute in theory. But this book (LIGHT SPOILERS) takes place over 1 day ... has a several months long time jump ... another 1 day together ... another several months long time jump ... 

It's just so unrealistic. They don't talk at all in the time jumps. So maybe this would make a cute movie, but as a book I needed MORE.
