This is such a wandering, meandering story that has everything I ever wanted from a forbidden, slow burn romance. Ryke and Daisy are puzzle piece soul mates and I adore their journey. It’s the right amount of longing, right amount of secrecy, right amount of tension that is poised to break at any time. 
I love character driven narratives but too often they delve into the boring minutiae. There’s never a dull moment in Daisy’s life. There’s never a moment I doubted Ryke would be the best thing to happen to Daisy and vice versa.
