Freedom Is a Constant Struggle: Ferguson, Palestine, and the Foundations of a Movement by Angela Y. Davis

informative fast-paced

4.0

Content-wise, it is very informative and thorough. Angela Davis has a fluidity to her speeches that I absolutely admire. I do have gripes with how the collection is set up: 1. Frank Barat was just a bit insufferable as an interviewer and 2. The speeches regard different issues, but she brings up the same exact topics and issues so reading essay after essay, it starts to feel repetitive. That being said, each speech had its own sets of revelations that would make up for the repetition.
