Reconnected: How 7 Screen-Free Weeks with Monks and Amish Farmers Helped Me Recover the Lost Art of Being Human by Carlos Whittaker

I got a little enjoyment out of reading the book, but I feel like I didn’t get too much out of it. I don’t have TikTok or facebook, and I seldom use social media outside of touching base with peers and checking news. I can’t relate to the author’s phone struggles, but I do think there’s some positive takeaways.
While the book is also Christian-focused, if you’re nonreligious you may still get some enjoyment and advice for mindfulness from it.
Not a bad read and it was relatively easy to breeze through, but I feel like there was much left out that would’ve made the book more full and engaging.
