Bullet review:
+Interesting topics that kept me engaged throughout
+A realistic look at humans' relationships with these animals
+Author has an engaging writing voice
-I feel that some of the chapters were less about the animals themselves and more about a topic surrounding them on a bigger spectrum. Like the narwhal chapter is mostly about this one historical tooth, but it's not so much about narwhals as a species themselves. This when other chapters, for example the polar bear or lemming chapter, are really about the species. Feels a bit inconsistent and I overall don't feel I really learned anything new about narwhals when the other chapters were quite informative.
