4.5 stars. I'm glad we weren't left in suspense over Alex's story since it was a bit of a cliffhanger from the last book. This was the first book I had to wait for in the series and I wasn't disappointed. We're once again gifted a new culture and setting for this plot which. I'm glad we're getting to 'tour the planet' and see what makes it different. This was a bit of a slow burn considering they were also dealing with forced proximity and fake dating. I'm really looking forward to the next in the series and glad I have an another alien series to fill in the holes from Ruby Dixon finishing Ice Planet Barbarians and almost being done with Icehome.
