There's a part of me that appreciates classic science fiction and the roads it's paved; Inherit the Stars is a fascinating, if somewhat-boring, example.
It's interesting-enough, but not much of a "page-turner" compared to contemporary sci-fi. An interesting premise with a satisfying - if entirely predictable - conclusion, punctuated by lengthy chunks of exposition via dialogue.
