New Teeth: Stories by Simon Rich
3.0
One of the funnier books I've read, and the stories were quite touching. I would expect nothing less from someone who has written for Pixar, SNL, and The Simpsons.
Again and again, Rich presents parenthood as a redemptive experience that solves (or at least eases) an aging character's fears about their own mortality. I have to assume the author now has kids (the cover is a bit of a clue as well haha).
"New Teeth" was such a fun, quick read, and the stories are far more than the sum of their quirky premises.
